Marc Blackburn
Marc Blackburn is currently the manager for visitor services at Lava Beds and Tule Lake National Monuments in California. He is a 28-year veteran of the National Park Service and has worked at six parks in the western United States. He earned his PhD from Temple University in 1992 in American military and diplomatic history under the tutelage of Russell F. Weigley. He is the author of Interpreting American Military History for Small Museums and Heritage Sites and numerous articles and book reviews. His is also host of the podcast America at War: A military history of the United States.
