Noguchi’s Gardens: Landscape as Sculpture by Marc Treib

Mark R. Eischeid, PhD, PLA (CA), is an associate professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Oregon and an external affiliate of the Department of Public and Applied Humanities at the University of Arizona. He primarily teaches history classes and design studios, and his research focuses on the history and theory of 20th‐century landscape architecture. He is a licensed landscape architect (California) who has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in the United Kingdom, Japan, Denmark, and Greenland. His work can be seen in private and public collections in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
